Scarce. Moderate shelf wear and age-toning, soiling to wraps, the bottom cover near the spine has slight damage due to sticker removal, binding sound, rear endpage (blank) has a closed tear, torn most of the way through. 30 page art exhibition catalog, illustrated in black and white and color, includes a short biography, bibliography and listing of exhibitions. Includes an essay by Saul Yurkievich. Continuing the plastic research born at the beginning of this century and commonly referred to as "geometric abstract art" or "constructivism", Tomasello is part of this group of so-called kinetic creators who, in the 1950s, wanted to integrate movement into their works. They implemented either virtual movement by multiplying perspectives and other optical illusions (Op Art), or real movement produced by mechanical, electrical or natural forces such as the wind. Tomasello explores the effects obtained by the reflection of light in three-dimensional vibrating compositions, very pure, reduced to the essential. Seller Inventory # 230916038
