This book has a very slight lean, is reasonably clean, free of edge dings with all four corners lightly bumped; the head and heel of the spine are bumped with some color loss but no fraying; the bottom edges have a moderate amount of wear. The spine is not faded but heavily soiled and worn, with a "6" inked above the author s name; all the lettering and the oval image are intact. The front panel is lightly soiled and has little wear. The interior is free of writing, stray marks and paper damage of any type; several early pages have small non-intrusive stains in the margins. Both hinges are strong and undamaged in any fashion. The text paper is mildly toned and very flexible. The book has no remainder mark and is not a former library book. It has a frontis on coated paper. The list at the rear of the book lists the first 19 titles in this series.
