This copy has darkened with age and the covers are rubbed. The front hinge has torn 1 inch from the head of the spine, head of the back hinge has chipped. Interior gutters are solid, little shadowing. Front endpapers have ownership marks and date. Upper corner of fore-edge is also slightly chipped. Interior text has darkened slightly with age, solid and tight in binding. Numerous black and white illustrations throughout.
