Fine condition color photographic metal CD case housing three fine condition CDs with each CD contained within its own color photographic CD case. Also includes a CD booklet, entitled Your Truly Tom Jones, which contains a biography of Tom Jones by Laura Guzzo along with black-and-white photographs. "One of the few musicians to survive the British Invasion of the 1960s and still manage to top the charts, Tom Jones is a survivor. Where most artists fell by the wayside soon after making the hit parade, Jones has persevered., tailoring his distinct voice to whatever the prevailing music landscape called for - be it rock, pop, country or dance music - and getting it right every time. He is the ultimate chameleon, able to transform himself while maintaining his integrity both as an artist and a performer. That sincerity, coupled with his unyielding desie to adapt to the times has earned him a fan base that spans generations and genres and still endures. After Elvis, he was one of the few artists to capitalize on his palpable sexual energy, gladly swinging his hips for his female fans, who expressed their gratitude by regularly hurling their underwear onto the stage at his concerts. He catapulted to fame as a slick, sexy showman in the swingin' 60s and has since recorded nearly every genre of popular music while staying faithful to the powerhouse baritone that made him famous. No matter what the song, there was never any doubt that the voice coming from the speakers belonged to Tom Jones." - excerpt from the Pamphlet.…

Store description
Vero Beach Books is an antiquarian bookseller with a constantly updated inventory of rare out-of-print books, signed books, children's books, plus a large inventory of ephemeral items such as major U.S. city newspapers going back 100 years and more, golden and silver age fine condition comic books (soon to be added), and many other ephemeral items as well as much more recent popular volumes. We have been in business for 25 years, originally known as Emerson Books (named after one of our owner's favorite authors, to wit, Ralph Waldo Emerson) located back then in Westport, Connecticut. That said, we are here to serve you, to offer you fine quality items that are conservatively described so that you will always be pleasantly surprised and delighted with your purchase. Twenty-five years in the bookselling business has borne out our stellar service oriented reputation; the only difference is that now we are located in the almost always sunny and warm climate of Vero Beach, Florida. Again, we are here to serve you and, as was the case when we were previously known on ABEBooks.com as Emerson Books, we will continue to offer our very popular 100% free search service for those hard to find books rare and out of print books. Oftentimes we are also able to obtain these rare finds at very good discounts to our customers' so it is always worth contacting us in such cases!
