In an age where spiritual hunger is growing and confusion often surrounds the prophetic, Kevin Conner’s book Today’s Prophets offers timely and much-needed wisdom for the church.
Drawing from decades of biblical scholarship and pastoral experience, Kevin explores one of the most misunderstood ministries in the body of Christ: the prophetic. With clarity and balance, this concise volume outlines the restoration, function, and safeguards of prophetic ministry in our time.
What’s Inside the Book?
📖 Today’s Prophets answers key questions many believers are asking:
-
What is the difference between Old and New Testament prophets?
-
How should prophecy function in today’s church?
-
What are the dangers of overemphasis or misuse of prophetic gifts?
-
How do apostles and prophets work together?
-
What are the biblical tests for discerning true prophets from false ones?
Kevin brings scriptural insight and historical awareness to this important topic, reminding us that while prophecy is a gift to be embraced, it must be rooted in order, accountability, and the authority of Scripture.
Who Is This Book For?
This is essential reading for:
-
Pastors and church leaders navigating prophetic dynamics
-
Bible students and seminary learners exploring spiritual gifts
-
Believers seeking a deeper understanding of their own prophetic experiences
-
Anyone curious about how prophecy fits into New Testament church life today
Why This Book Matters Now
Kevin Conner doesn’t dismiss the prophetic—he honours it. But he also warns against the excesses that have shipwrecked movements in the past. With pastoral care and theological rigour, he provides practical guidance and biblical checks and balances to help believers discern what is of God.
In an era of spiritual noise, Today’s Prophets is a clear trumpet sound.
