Paperback. There has been a brutal murder in the secluded town of Oakley Green. A young English Teacher, Mrs Emma Langley is the victim. Gemma McCarthy is the local Detective on the case. She lives with her fiance, Esther Quinn. The pair appear to be happily engaged, but Esther has been keeping secrets. Nothing is as it seems when Gemma discovers some shocking information about her fiance that threatens to break the foundation of their relationship and potentially Gemma's career. As the murder investigation continues, Gemma meets schoolboy Toby Devourt and is hit with the realisation that not all children are as innocent as they seem. Some see how adults treat them. Some want revenge. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from our UK warehouse or from our Australian or US warehouses, depending on stock availability.
