Written specifically for senior citizens who want to get the most out of their iPads, this step-by-step guidebook shows how to work and customize numerous lesser-known but very important features. Beginning with a discussion on how to configure various practical settings on an iPad-including touch, visibility, sounds, messaging, and privacy-this book then goes on to detail options that exist within apps, including Safari, Twitter, and Facebook. Additional topics include working with the Notification Center, optimizing Mail settings, managing Contacts and Calendar events, and setting Reminders. With large-print type and an extensive index, this is the best resource for seniors looking to learn all about their iPad.
Suitable for iPad 2, the new iPad (3th and 4th generation), iPad Air, iPad mini and iPad mini 2
