When a mass shooting shatters Charlie Langstrom’s family, he’s left to pick up the pieces—not just for his children, but for the questions his late wife left behind. Grieving, overwhelmed, and desperate for answers, Charlie stumbles upon a secret that rewrites everything he thought he knew: his youngest child may not be his.
Enter Ryan Kendricks—a struggling musician, a broken man with ties to the past Charlie never saw coming. As the two men are drawn into a legal and emotional battle over custody and truth, a much larger force begins to reveal itself. Eclipse Tactical, the gun manufacturer behind the weapon used in the shooting, lurks in the background—untouchable, unaccountable… until a courtroom misstep opens the floodgates.
Set against the backdrop of a trial that captures national attention, Times and Memorial is a story about justice, fatherhood, and the choices we make when we’re at our most vulnerable. As personal grief collides with institutional power, Charlie and Ryan must confront what it means to truly protect a child—and what they’re willing to sacrifice to do so.
Heart-wrenching and thought-provoking, this novel explores the cost of silence, the burden of truth, and the quiet, defiant power of simply choosing to live.
