Paperback. Reality, as Einstein pointed out in his threory of relativity, depends on your point of view. Facing mirrors, the mind and body are complementary aspects of the same reality, each creating the other. Bringing the pair of opposites together in a relaxed state, altering and controlling the rhythms of the mind, immersing mind and body in a field of relaxed energy through rest, meditation, hypnosis or sonopuncture - these are the ways holistic healers deal with a mind-body signaling distress. In his rapid-fire, staccato style, Dr. Oyle draws from Lao Tzu, Buddhist philosophy, a Peruvian whistling bottle used to alter the rhythms of the mind, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, leading medical researchers, and NASA scientists to bridge the gap between the mind-created world of the particle physicist and the down-to-earth, day-to-day world of the reader. 145 pp. (We carry a wide selection of titles in The Arts, Theology, History, Politics, Social and Physical Sciences. academic and scholarly books and Modern First Editions ,and all types of Academic Literature.).…
