Synopsis:

Bilal Shafique did his M.Sc. in Physics from University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir, Muzaffarabad, Pakistan in 2011. He worked on Passive Radon/Thoron measurement using CR-39 Solid State Nuclear Track Detectors. He presented his research work in International Symposium on Natural Radiation Exposures and Low Dose Radiation Epidemiological Studies (NARE-2012), Hirosaki, Japan. His presentation there was received well in the research community. In 2014, he did his M.Phil in Radiation Physics from the same institute and carried out a research on Time Series Analysis of Indoor Radon along fault line of Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir. He also presented this work in 59th Annual Meeting of the Health Physics Society (HPS), Baltimore, Maryland, USA in July 2014. He has teaching and research experience in the relevant field.

About the Author: Prof. Dr. Muhammad Rafique is currently serving as Professor at the Department of Physics, University of Azad Jammu & Kashmir. He joined the Department of Physics as a lecturer in 1999. His areas of research are reactor physics, radiation dosimetry, radiation shielding and fluid dynamics. He has authored, more than 60 research articles.
