236 pages. Hardcover, bound in tan colored cloth covered boards and wrapped in an illustrated paper dustjacket. Dustjacket has some mild wear to the edges from shelving, but the binding is crisp, solid, and tight, with a clean interior free of markings. A fascinating story of the beginnings of major arts and cultural institutions of both Austin and Houston, as told by a woman who was at the center of much of it for a number of decades.
