Ticket to Ride(TM) is a board game that's sold over 18 million copies. In this thrilling, 100% official narrative adventure, 12-year-old Teddy Hart accidentally boards the wrong train, but it's not just any ol' train, it's a high-speed bullet train filled with spies, excitement, and action! Can Teddy protect "the asset" and make it back home in one piece?

After saving the Excelsior Express, Teddy thought he'd be heading home for a quiet, adventure-free break. But when he accidentally boards the Rocket, a state-of-the-art, cutting-edge bullet train, things spiral out of control fast.

This fictional novel, perfect for middle schoolers or gamers of any age, is based on the hit Ticket to Ride(TM) board game by Alan R. Moon.

Without a ticket, a phone, or any idea why there's a mysterious puppy in his backpack, Teddy hurtles towards New Orleans at record-breaking speeds. As his journey unfolds, he encounters an eclectic mix of characters, from shadowy agents to an elderly woman named Wilson to a pair of burly brothers who try to recruit him. And what's more--everyone seems to be after the "asset," and Teddy doesn't know who to trust.

As the adventure intensifies, Teddy must rely on his train knowledge, sharp wits, and unexpected allies to protect the puppy, uncover the Rocket's secrets, and find his way back home--if he can.

Join Teddy for another electrifying journey, packed with twists, turns, and unexpected surprises as he takes a Ticket to Ride(TM)! Bestselling author Adrienne Kress (Five Nights at Freddy's / Bendy and the Ink Machine) weaves a delightful spy story with twist in a style reminiscent of Lemony Snicket and Roald Dahl.
