Michael Seymour has spent years being the joyful cowboy, doing much for others but little for himself. When a chance carriage accident throws a fiery, sharp-tongued woman into his path, his life takes an unexpected turn. Frilly petticoats, midnight-black hair, and silvery blue eyes that pierce his soul—Marie Owens is unlike anyone he's ever met. Determined to uncover the woman behind the bluster, Michael is drawn into her world, one he fully supports but one in which she doesn’t believe any man can.
Marie has no time for love or distraction. Her mission to rally Montana’s men to vote for women’s suffrage is all-consuming. She sees Michael Seymour as just another obstacle—until a string of misfortunes leaves her with no choice but to rely on him if she wants to continue her mission. Torn between her growing feelings and her fight for equality, Marie must wrestle with what she’s willing to risk for both her cause and her heart.
As Michael struggles to prove he’s the man who can stand beside her, dark shadows threaten to derail their future. When heartbreak drives him to seek solace elsewhere, Marie must decide whether to follow her convictions or risk everything for a love she never expected.
Can two determined souls find common ground, or will their passions push them apart forever?
Thundering Sunset is the sixth novel in the Thundering Mountain Ranch series. All books in the series can be read as a standalone with a happily ever after in each one.
