Paperback. Lieutenant Jon Burke is a seasoned detective and the commanding officer at Burnside Station. When two of his men are gunned down in cold blood, he finds himself at the head of the greatest manhunt in Chicago's history. Solomon Armstrong owns a chop shop on the South Side. When the investigation threatens to expose the secrets of his business, he strives desperately to save himself and his family - though it may soon be too late. Based on an actual murder investigation in 1982, The Threshing Floor tells a story of crime and punishment that continues to haunt Chicagoland. This item is printed on demand.
