Very different but very close. Arnold, the eldest, a battle-hardened former special forces warrior retired to his secluded, hand-built log cabin. Brother Harold, a brilliant scientist with strength to match his intellect who spends his days conducting sometimes dangerous experiments in his brick home and laboratory. Youngest bother Normanis an accomplished architect and fitness fanatic, proudly residing in the innovative straw-bale house of his own design. Their peaceful existence is shattered when a brutal attack on Norman's home, reveals the truth behind a legend older than memory. The creature known throughout fairy tales as the Big Bad Wolf is no ordinary predator. Nor is it singular. Hidden beneath the familiar story lies a dark secret of lost history, and werewolves. They have a helluva lot to learn about Werewolves. And Werewolves do not tolerate being thwarted. Drawn to the fight astride her warhorse is Lady Angeline Chattaway, a fearless and devastatingly skilled werewolf hunter whose beauty is rivaled only by her determination. Armed with silver, steel, and a lifetime of vengeance, she's willing to sacrifice everything to destroy the creatures that have haunted her life. At the center of the growing nightmare stands their mother, Sophia, beloved baker of legendary cookies. Kind-hearted and fiercely protective, she seems to be nothing more than a sweet, devoted mother in need of rescue. But Mama Pigg harbors secrets buried deep in the forest's forgotten history-secrets that could change everything the brothers believe about the werewolves stalking the night. An enemy unlike any nightmare they imagined. Hidden within a towering fortress rules the Werewolf Queen, a ruthless predator whose power borders on the supernatural. Her howls can summon whirlwinds capable of tearing forests apart and flattening homes. Under her command gathers a savage pack driven by bloodlust and conquest. As the full moon rises, the brothers uncover the terrifying truth behind the legend of the Big Bad Wolf. What began as a fairy tale has always been a warning. Now the brothers must rely on their strength, intelligence, and courage to survive a nightmare that has been disguised as a children's tale for centuries. Arnold, Harold, Norman, and the deadly hunter at their side must launch a desperate assault against the werewolves' castle fortress to rescue their mother, Sophia, before the pack descends upon the surrounding lands. If they fail, every farm, village, and creature within reach of the forest will be slaughtered. The Piggs are ready to fight. The wolves are ready to feed. And before the moon sets, only one bloodline will remain standing. Don't forget the cookies. This item is printed on demand.
