Paperback. Three Idiots and a Wise Man is the opening novel in another branch of the Kumar's Parallel Timelines series. Unlike a conventional romance, the story is told from multiple first-person perspectives, primarily Kumar, Sreenu, Pradip, and later Sneha, Sahithi, and Leena. It chronicles Kumar's life from junior college in 1979 through adulthood, marriage, family life, and eventually into a science-fiction story-line during the COVID-19 pandemic.Three Idiots and a Wise Man is both a coming-of-age novel and a multigenerational family saga. It begins as a nostalgic college romance, evolves into a story of friendship and professional success, and eventually becomes a science-fiction narrative about humanity's fight against a global pandemic. The transition from youthful innocence to adult responsibility is gradual and believable, making it one of the more ambitious entries in the Kumar's Parallel Timelines series.
