Three Books of Occult Philosophy by Cornelius Agrippa is a key work of Western esotericism. Encyclopedic in its scope, Three Books of Occult Philosophy has never been surpassed in its breadth of occult knowledge, encompassing natural magic, astrological and divine magic. Originally published in Latin in 1533, until now it has only been available in a 17th century translation that remains problematic despite modern attempts to annotate. Renaissance Astrology Press is proud to present the first modern translation from the Latin critical edition by Eric Purdue, edited with a Preface by the noted astrologer and magician Christopher Warnock. This volume contains Book One dealing with the Material World, natural magic and occult virtues. This edition is heavily annotated with over 1,000 footnotes, with all of Agrippa's sources carefully noted. Finally Agrippa's occult masterpiece is available in an accurate modern English translation!
