He can change his face. He can manipulate her world. But he never imagined that she would turn the tables.
It begins with an innocent online flirtation.
When a charming stranger becomes increasingly intimate and demands her real name and location, Angeline refuses.
He abruptly ends their conversation, and she believes she'll never hear from him again.
She's dangerously wrong.
For Darrell, rejection isn't the end. Its the beginning of an obsession.
Watching from the shadows, he studies her every move, manipulates her circumstances, and reinvents himself to become the man he believes she cannot resist. By the time Angeline figures out how deeply he's infiltrated her life, the line between love and deception has become terrifyingly blurred.
But Angeline is no helpless victim.
From the Appalachian Mountains from West Virginia to Georgia and the glittering streets of Paris, a relentless game of cat and mouse unfolds. As identities shift, secrets surface, and danger closes in, Angeline discovers that escaping a predator may require becoming one herself.
And Darrell isn't the only one hiding secrets.
Amid the danger, two women find themselves caught between passionate love and deadly obsession. With country music, unexpected romance, shocking betrayals, and twists that refuse to let go, their journey becomes a fight for survival--and for the men they truly love.
The predator becomes the prey.
Threads of Obsession is a provocative, steamy psychological romantic thriller where dangerous obsession collides with passionate desire. Filled with explicit sexual encounters, seductive secrets, shocking betrayals, and unexpected twists, this is a story where love can become intoxicating, trust can be deadly, and nothing is quite what it seems.
For readers who love the psychological tension of B.A. Paris, the shocking twists of Lisa Jewell, and the emotional tendency of Colleen Hoover.
For mature readers. Contains explicit sexual content, and themes of stalking and manipulation.
