Some threads, once pulled, unravel everything.
Narine Anahid Khoren is one of the most gifted travelers in the Seba Segel order. She has crossed centuries, survived a year marooned in the past, and kept secrets that would shatter a lesser mage. She is careful, disciplined, and very good at protecting what she loves.
She is not prepared for what she finds on the first day of Pagume.
The thirteenth month is five days outside the normal calendar when time travel is forbidden. But this Pagume, the timeline has ruptured. Narine's mentor has been woven out of existence. A man whose life should have been a fixed point in history is erased. His life and memory gone as if they never existed.
The conspiracy runs deeper than Narine can unravel alone. The Tibeb — a living record of woven time — reveals a massacre that should never have happened, and the elders of her own order may know more than they are telling.
Help comes from an unlikely direction when Narine meets Jacob Martin, an American professor visiting Addis Ababa who carries a traveler's mark he cannot explain and power he has never been trained to use. Narine knows better than to reveal order secrets to a stranger.
She pulls him in anyway.
The Thirteenth Month is the first book in the Seba Segel Series, an epic time travel fantasy set in 2079 Addis Ababa, where ancient mage orders, dangerous magic, and an impossible connection collide across the centuries.
For readers of Diana Gabaldon and Ilona Andrews who love slow-burn romance, rich world-building, and time travel fantasy with real emotional stakes.
