Paperback. The Third Lobe What if you were forced to commit atrocities-fully aware, fully yourself-but powerless to stop? Commander Shannus remembers everything. Every village burned. Every prisoner executed. Every soldier sent to die under his command. The third lobe embedded in his skull chains him to the dark lord Baiga's will, turning him into a weapon against his own people. But Baiga's rushed conversion left something behind: awareness. Shannus is a prisoner in his own body, forced to witness horrors he cannot prevent. When a crack appears in his mental chains, Shannus faces an impossible choice: continue as Baiga's slave, or risk everything-including his son's life-for a chance at freedom. A War Across Universes Reality itself is broken. For a billion years, the cosmos has been split into light and dark, connected only by dimensional gateways. The light universe thrives while the dark universe withers-and Baiga, an ancient cosmic entity older than the split itself, has been consuming world after world, enslaving millions through his crystal network. When Shannus defects to the light-side forces, he brings intelligence that could change everything: the location of Baiga's crystal chamber, the source of his enslaving power. But reaching it means assembling a team of thirty-five warriors for a suicide mission into the heart of darkness. And leading them will be Maeralya and Ragot-heroes who once defeated a corrupted god but have never faced anything like Baiga. The Price of Freedom This is a story of impossible choices and devastating sacrifices. Of a father who must decide whether to save his son or save millions. Of former enemies-Orcs and Dwarves, freed slaves and former masters-learning to fight side by side. Of ordinary people who discover that freedom isn't granted by heroes, but claimed by those brave enough to choose it. Spanning from intimate moments of quiet courage to cosmic battles that reshape reality itself, The Third Lobe asks: What would you sacrifice for freedom? How do you live with choices made under compulsion? And can the seeds planted by one generation's sacrifice grow into something that lasts a billion years? Perfect for readers who love: Morally complex characters facing impossible choices Epic space opera with intimate emotional stakes Multi-generational storytelling that spans cosmic timescales Found family and unlikely alliances Redemption arcs that cost everything Stories where ordinary people change the universe "Freedom is never given-it must be claimed. And the courage to choose, even when all choices are hard, is what makes us human." From the author of the Erohins series comes a standalone epic that explores what it means to be free, what it costs to stay free, and why some choices echo across eternity.
