8vo 8" - 9" tall; 326 pages; 1865 Walker Fuller & Co. , Boston. HC Original pebbled brown cloth with ruling in triple blind to boards. Gilt tilting to spine slightly dulled; tiny snag to cloth mid-spine. Binding sound. 3rd edition, apparently in same year (1865) of first publication. Spine somewhat cocked. Corners rubbed; top corners through to boards. Prior owner name stamp/s in ink to front end pages. Sound clean copy of this uncommon Civil War novel set in the Confederacy. G++.
