Therese Neumann. This item is unavailable.Therese Neumann

"Therese Neumann" provides a compelling and detailed account of one of the most famous mystics and stigmatics of the twentieth century. Written by Friedrich Ritter von Lama during a period of intense public interest in her spiritual journey, this work explores the life of the Bavarian peasant woman who became a focal point of religious devotion and scientific curiosity. The book examines the onset of her stigmata, her visions of the Passion of Christ, and the extraordinary reports of her living solely on the Eucharist for decades.

Drawing upon contemporary accounts and personal observations, von Lama presents a respectful yet thorough investigation into the phenomena surrounding the "Resl of Konnersreuth." The narrative captures the profound impact her experiences had on the Catholic world and beyond, offering insights into the nature of faith, suffering, and reported divine intervention. This biography remains a significant historical document for readers interested in Catholic mysticism, hagiography, and the intersection of religious experience with modern scrutiny.
