Deep beneath the soil, a tiny seed named Theo dreams of something big — to grow tall, bright, and green like the plants above.
When Waterdrop Wendy trickles down and softens his shell, something cracks. A tiny root pushes out, and Mr. Root anchors him deep into the ground. Then Sunny the Sunbeam arrives with warmth and energy, and Airy the Breeze swoops in with fresh air — until finally, with a POP and a PEEK, Theo breaks through the soil and sees the wide world for the very first time.
From a sleepy seed to a proud plant with flowers and seeds of his own, Theo's Sprout-tacular Adventure is a beautifully rhyming tale told entirely in verse — the perfect blend of storytelling and science, with heart, humor, and plenty of sunshine. It encourages patience, celebrates small beginnings, and teaches the magic of teamwork in the natural world.
What's inside this book:
- The complete plant life cycle — germination, roots, stems, leaves, flowers, and seed dispersal — told as a rhyming adventure
- A "Grow Your Own Theo" DIY planting activity where kids plant a real seed, decorate their pot, and keep a growth diary to track their plant day by day
- Plant care tips, a learning checklist, and a troubleshooting guide for young gardeners
- Six fun facts about seeds and plants (did you know a single dandelion can make 2,000 seeds?)
- Vibrant hand-illustrated characters: Theo, Waterdrop Wendy, Sunny the Sunbeam, Airy the Breeze, and Mr. Root
- Free bonus coloring pages via QR code
