Item description from seller

A classic of its kind; still being published in the 21st century. Written by the artist and illustrator - who was also Professor of Perspective at the Royal Academy. The level of detail is almost forensic with just over 400 b/w diagrams (see images; including one of the book's two fold-out diagrams). Olive green cloth with gilt (gold) title on the front cover and title/author/publisher logo at the head and tail of the spine. Condition (external): the upper board is a little faded and marked in places, the lower board more so with clear fading and watermarking. Both the head and tail of the spine is a little frayed; plus the spine cloth has become quite tanned (unless originally brown/beige). Tight binding, although slight looseness between front pastedown and book block. Uncut edges (tanned). Condition (internal): mild to moderate tanning throughout. Both the text and many images/diagrams are largely unaffected. Ink initials (3) on ffep. pp.xii, 272. Please note that, depending on destination, we may request a payment to cover any extra shipping/postage charges. Proceeds to Amnesty International. Abe2510.
