4°. 38 x 25 cm. [8] Blatt, 1016 Seiten, [1] Blatt, 198 Spalten. Ausgabe in Latein. VD17 12:107294Q. Backer/Sommervogel IV, 1585. Mit allegorischem Kupfertitel gestochen von Raphael Sadeler nach Th. Hoffmann und einigen Holzschnittinitialen. Enthält neben den 5 regulären Bücher der Moraltheologie: Derselbe: Moralis Theologiae. Repertorium seu Compendiosa Rerum In Ea Contentarum, Secundum Ordinem Alphabeti descriptio. Insgesamt dennoch gutes Exemplar. 3rd revised and enlarged edition, printed by Nikolaus Heinrich, who had already published the first edition in 1625. Latin edition. Vellum binding of the time with later spine covering in bright brown leather with floral blind embossed book decoration and 5 raised bands. With allegorically engraved additional title page as well as some initials in woodcut. Contains besides the 5 regular books of the "Theologia Moralis": Moralis Theologiae. Repertorium seu Compendiosa Rerum In Ea Contentarum, Secundum Ordinem Alphabeti descriptio. Binding a bit bumped, rubbed and with some small wormholes, endpapers partially neatly backed with paper, stamps on endpapers and title page, margins especially at the beginning and at the end with waterstains (text partially affected), pages throughout lightly darkened, some of the first and last pages with wormholes (most of the size of a pinhead, some affecting the text with minimal loss of single letters resp. minimal defect to the engraved title page), last pages' margins with small blemishes. Altogether still good copy. Seller Inventory # 63701CB
