THE BOOKERY is an independently run business with a bricks n' mortar store located in Vermont's White River Valley town of Rochester. We present an eclectic selection of new, used, rare and collectable books with special interests in Vermont, Poetry, Cookbooks and Agriculture. With two floors in one building and another 3 large rooms housed in the building next door, there's a lot to choose from! The building next door also hosts a wonderful bakery and espresso business. All our rooms are named for J R R Tolkien's Lord of the Rooms classics. Pass through the handcrafted "Tree" door into our room devoted to young children. On the porch, we offer two, very popular FREE carts - hey you never know. George and Pips, our two feline store mascots will welcome you with a purr. Please visit us soon!
