Hardcover. Ripped from the headlines of her own parenting journey - a longtime TV writer/producer (Law & Order: SVU, Bull, Chicago Justice) trades crime scenes for bath scenes in this laugh-out-loud picture book. When Thatcher screams so loudly at bath time it triggers a full-blown neighborhood response - police rush in, helicopters circle, newscasters go live - and everyone has a "helpful" suggestion for mom. She gamely tries every wild suggestion, from serving a turkey dinner in the tub to surfing the waves of overflowing bathwater. At its heart, Thatcher Hates The Bath is a story that will resonate with parents and children alike: you don't have to get it right the first time, and sometimes the best solution is trusting your own instincts over outside voices or pressure. With bold, colorful illustrations and plenty of chaos, this is a read-aloud families will return to again and again. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from our UK warehouse or from our Australian or US warehouses, depending on stock availability.…

A laugh-out-loud picture book about a toddler's epic bath-time meltdown that spirals into a full-blown, citywide emergency. With playful repetition, counting, and wildly imaginative illustrations, it's a perfect read-aloud for young children, while offering plenty of humor parents will instantly recognize.
Told from the parent's perspective, Thatcher Hates the Bath delivers a heartfelt reminder that there's no quick fix to the challenges of toddlerhood, just patience, persistence, and a sense of humor.
Perfect for storytime, bedtime, baby showers, and Mother's Day, it's a go-to gift for families with toddlers, new moms, and first-time parents.
Penned by veteran TV writer Allison Intrieri (Law & Order: SVU, Bull, East New York).
