Detailed report on textile materials of the Guatemalan Highlands. The author's research took place over a 3 months period in 1936. Profusely illustrated with b/w reproductions of drawings and photographs. Drawings by Lucretia Nelson. Age wear, sunning, staining and some creasing on wraps. Reinforced along gutter with binders tape at front and rear endpapers. Staining on fore-page edges. Blind-stamp of previous owner on lower margin of title-page.
