She still loves her husband.
That isn't why she's leaving him.
Elena Hart makes a living managing corporate crises. Adrian Vale is managing partner of the investment firm trying to buy the hotel at the center of her latest one—and the husband whose need to control what she knew destroyed their marriage.
Now an incident at the hotel forces them into the same rooms, late nights, and an attraction that never died.
As buried records surface and the billion-dollar deal fractures under scrutiny, Elena gets closer to the answer she never had: what Adrian knew, what he chose, and why he believed he had the right to choose for her.
The closer they get to the truth, the harder it is to pretend nothing between them still matters.
But wanting Adrian has never been Elena's problem.
Trusting him with her choices is.
If they want a second chance, they may have to let their first marriage end.
They still love each other. The divorce still has to happen.
