Reddish brown cloth w/ price clipped dj; xli, 498 pp; author and subject indexes. The editor tried to be as comprehensive as possible through the year 1972 and his intent was to create a more comprehensive bibliography than those that preceded it, knowing full well that it should be updated and improved upon. For the most part, there was no attempt to include genealogy. Important reference tool for the broad study of Tennessee. [17-WAH--8].
