Review
From the reviews:
"This book should be of great interest to all those involved with the management of soft tissue injuries, be they physiotherapist, physician or surgeon. The editors are to be congratulated in co-ordinating the input from so many international experts. ... I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book ... . each chapter presents state of the art knowledge and I look forward to referring to it ... . This book offers the practising clinician the best of what we have to date ... ." (Dr. Keith Bush, The Journal of Orthopaedic Medicine, Vol. 27 (3), 2005)
"The book reviews the current research and trends in diagnosis and medical and conservative treatment of tendon injuries. ... This book provides a very comprehensive resource on the topic of tendon injuries, allowing clinicians to make sound, research-based decisions. ... this is a very well organized, in-depth text that would be very useful to healthcare professionals who treat patients with tendon injuries and for students in the advanced stages of a healthcare related course." (Brian Woltz, The Journal of Manual and Manipulative Therapy, 2006)
"This multinational, multi-author book attempts an ambitious, all-embracing account of tendon problems. ... The quality of the writing is good and the text is readable and devoid of jargon ... . there is a great deal in this book and I recommend it to interested surgeons, physicians and other health professionals involved in sports medicine." (T. Gibson, The Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery, Vol. 88-B (3), 2006)
"Dedicated works only with tendineuse pathology are rare whereas this one is very frequent. From this report, the authors carried out a work exploring all the facets of this pathology in three essential directions: diagnosis, treatment and rehabilitation. ... The iconography, primarily in black and white, is didactic and explicit. The bibliography is particularly complete. This undeniable reference book will interest a large audience, well beyond the doctors and surgeons, namely kinesitherapists, students ... ." (Laurent Balabaud, European Journal of Orthopaedic Surgery and Traumatology, Vol. 19, 2009)
