"Lisa Sugar provides a very moving, thoughtful and personal account of her mother's death, but more importantly, a description of the meaning and learning that is possible from such a painful experience. Lisa has captured the essence of her mother's strength and wisdom, and has managed to organize it into a concise and very readable format. There are lessons here that any person can take and use to enhance the experience of life, and ultimately to create more positive relationships with oneself and others." Dr. Andrew Shaul, Psychologist "This book is so beautiful it made me cry. It is so well written, so sensitive, that you can see every word was chosen with great care and love. This is a book that should be read over and over again for anyone going through changes in their life. Sensitive, caring and full of love, just like the author." Mark Freedman, MSW, Clinical Therapist "Lisa shares her late mother's wisdom in a way that provides meaningful guidance to anyone who is suffering or struggling to deal with life-changing issues." Mark Weisleder, LLB, Author, Toronto Star columnist "Very moving story that shows us how death isn't something we have to fear. I love the wise life lessons that anyone can use." Carly Cooper, Author, Balance the Mother Load "I was drawn into your story immediately by your vivid, thoughtful and heartfelt writing, and by your remarkable mother's inspiring lessons." Regina Ryan, Regina Ryan Publishing Enterprises "Very moving and inspirational. I have actually used several of your valuable life lessons with the clients in my private counselling practice and have seen amazing results. Lisa, you are a true example of living out these principles that make so much sense." Sheri Rumack, MSW, RSW, Clinical Psychotherapist "This book is like 'Tuesdays with Morrie' meets 'The Monk Who Sold His Ferrari.' It changed my life for the better." Sharon Gabison, PhD candidate "Ten Days to DIE - Ten Ways to LIVE" is a heartbreaking true story about a wise and courageous woman who was told she only had a week or two to live - she died ten days later. But this inspiring and uplifting book is not about death and dying; it's about life and living.
