Ten 2nd Chances

What happens when a respected physician dies, visits Hell-then nearly dies not once, but ten times?

In this unforgettable memoir, Dr. Robert Treuherz takes readers on a profound and harrowing journey through death, near-death, and the astonishing revelations that followed. Ten 2nd Chances is the true story of one man's repeated brushes with the afterlife-beginning with a sudden and traumatic health crisis that left him clinically dead, thrust into a vivid and terrifying experience of Hell.

But that was only the beginning.

Brought back to life through the desperate pleas of his wife, Claudia, and the interventions of medical staff who were ready to give up, Dr. Treuherz experienced ten near-death experiences (NDEs)-each one offering him profound insights about time, love, human connection, and the invisible threads that bind us to one another.

What makes Ten 2nd Chances truly unique is its intimate, multi-perspective storytelling. Alongside Dr. Treuherz's candid and soul-searching reflections, readers will hear from the people who lived this trauma alongside him:

• Claudia Treuherz, his devoted wife, recounts the harrowing moments at his bedside, where her determination and refusal to let him go may have saved him from death. Her chapter provides a raw and emotionally rich contrast to her husband's, letting readers experience the same trauma from two hearts-one slipping away, and one fiercely holding on.
• Bradley Treuherz, the doctor's son, shares what it felt like to receive that terrifying phone call, and the helplessness of watching a parent slip into the unknown with a frightening prognosis for his future.
• Alan Davenport, the family's son-in-law, adds yet another layer of perspective, expressing anxiety about the potential loss of his beloved father-in-law.

Together, these voices weave a unique and deeply personal tapestry of survival, spiritual reckoning, and radical love. Dr. Treuherz doesn't just recount his medical and metaphysical odyssey-he offers readers a roadmap for prioritizing what matters most. Through intense pain, suffering, and awe-inspiring moments of faith, he has learned to view time differently, to value relationships above everything, and to carry forward an unshakable belief in second chances.

Ten 2nd Chances is more than a memoir-it's a testament to the power of love, family, and the unseen forces that guide us when we least expect it.
