Tenebris servitus, sanguine imperium.
Lucian 'Luca' Meridian was once Rome's deadliest weapon-a war machine forged in conquest, his name a whisper of fear to those who heard. Now, as a General of the Tempus Militibus, he is something far worse. A vampire. A monster who walks among men.
This new Tempus Militibus investigation is off the record. The Council of Elders must never know. Demis, a philosopher-turned-fool from the Sixth Dimension, demands Luca's aid. His bait? A theatre. His trap? A play. Medea. A tragedy soaked in vengeance and blood, where love and ruin entwine. But this is no ordinary stage-it is an altar. A confession.
As Luca sets the scene, the past claws at his soul, whispering that Rome's sins are not yet finished. And in the shadows, something darker waits for the final act.
This new hunt awakens something within him-something primal, something ravenous. He should turn away, but the past refuses to stay buried...
