Simon found his mother stabbed to death when he was seven - and his father is in prison due to his evidence. But, supposing his seven-year-old eyes had been too unperceptive? Suppose his father was actually innocent, as he vehemently claims to be? The uncertainty has made Simon moody and violent, and it seems that no-one can help. But then, he runs into Kirsty, who is prepared to be persistent and to ask the questions that matter. Is the real killer still out there? Are all the near-fatal accidents happening to Simon extreme attention seeking, or is the killer after him now? What is it that he knows.
