Paperback. Believing that we pull ourselves up by our own bootstraps is indeed self-empowering. However, a careful examination most often reveals that there were other people who were crucial to our fate and destiny. They often appeared as relatives, or intervening teachers, preachers and advisers, ordinary human encounters, all with magical sway. And, by fully acknowledging their powerful influence in our lives, we make ourselves whole. "This storytelling gives a compelling chronicle of how male mentors impacted the life journey of a professional musician, scholar and University President." -Patricia Russell-McCloud, Esq. This item is printed on demand. Shipping may be from our Sydney, NSW warehouse or from our UK or US warehouse, depending on stock availability.
