Everyone I’d ever loved left me.
It was foolish to fall in love with Zack. I knew he’d leave too.
It was only a matter of time.
When he found out I was pregnant and the baby wasn’t his, he was gone.
I had no choice but to pack my bags and leave.
Even if I still loved him, I didn’t need him.
I grieved for the two men I’d loved and lost. The one who’d cherished me and given me the greatest gift I could ever ask for; and the one who rescued me, then destroyed my heart because of the gift the first had given me.
Being a single mom while starting a music career was never my plan, but I was determined to make a life for my unborn child.
No one was going to save me… I had to save myself.
♥♫♥♪♥
I evicted Rissa my apartment, but I couldn’t get her out of my heart.
Nothing was right without her.
Despite the circumstances, I wanted her back.
I was a fool to think she could’ve been mine. That we could find happiness in my brother’s shadow. His parting gift was complication I wasn’t prepared for.
After the things I said and did, I didn’t deserve her friendship, let alone her love.
She was determined to make it on her own; she didn’t need me.
I was crazy to believe I could live without her… or the baby.
Losing her forever was not a risk I was willing to take.
She’d given up on me, but I hadn’t given up on her. I’d fight to the end for our happily ever after.
She hadn’t just tattooed my heart; she’d tattooed my soul.
