First published in 1785 and influential on the works of Jane Austen, Coleridge, Wordsworth & others. Hardcover, full brown leather, black leather spine label. General wear & rubbing, some foxing, staining & tanning to pages - a few quite heavily spotted, old ink price inside front cover, damage to rear pastedown - perhaps the rear free endsheet has been torn out.
