A tapping sound in the darkness. A shadow in the corner of the room. The unsettling certainty that you are not alone.
Late at night, the mind can become a dangerous place. Every creak of the floorboards, every whisper of the wind, every unexplained sound can awaken fears that refuse to remain buried.
In this fifth collection of supernatural tales, Cornelius Clarke explores the thin line between imagination and reality. Ghostly visitations, murder, dark secrets and unexplained horrors await those brave enough to venture into the darkness.
These six chilling stories will lead readers into a world where the dead are not always silent, where danger lurks just beyond sight, and where a simple tapping on the windowpane may be the last warning before something terrifying arrives.
Ideal for fans of ghost stories, supernatural horror and tales of the unexplained.
Before you turn out the light, listen carefully. Did you hear something at the window?
