Printed by Pillans & Wilson, Edinburgh. Early reissue, in a binding style more often encountered in the Brentano's imprint and printed on standard cream paper stock rather than the heavier toned leaves seen in earlier Harrap issue/s). Lushly illustrated with 12 color and 10 black-and-white tipped-in plates, along with numerous full-page and partial-page black-and-white illustrations. Each page enclosed within decorative borders from Pogány designs. Cloth lightly rubbed at spine ends and corner tips. Light to moderate toning to endpages. Several instances of mild gapping between signatures. Contents bright and clean. VG- to VG.
