Inspired by her primary school teacher and written when she was just nine years old, Míla Coxon’s debut story began as a heartfelt tribute to her beloved bunny, Mumbles, and as a gentle comfort for a younger cousin who struggled to settle at nap and bed time. That early spark of creativity grew into A Tale For A Sleepy Bunny, her first children’s picture book which won Best Children’s Picture Book at the Independent Publishers Awards in New York.
Now preparing to leave school and head to, Míla has wide-ranging interests including Science and Psychology. She loves designing and making things and took an active role in bringing her book to life, offering thoughtful input on the colours and illustrations throughout the publishing process.
Alongside her writing, Míla enjoys going to the gym and loves drama, She has experience performing on stage in Bristol, Bath, London and Paris. In 2017 she appeared in first UK McDonald’s Christmas advertisement.
