About the Author
Jonathan Rogers is the author of the popular Wilderking Trilogy and teaches creative writing at New College Franklin as well as online and in live-action seminars. He also hosts the Habit Membership community for writers and is an active member of The Rabbit Room
Jennifer Trafton is the author of THE RISE AND FALL OF MOUNT MAJESTIC, which was a nominee for Tennessee's Volunteer State Book Award and the National Homeschool Book award. HENRY AND THE CHALK DRAGON arose from her love of art and her personal quest for the courage to be an artist. When she's not writing or drawing, she teaches creative writing classes and workshops in a variety of schools, libraries and homeschool groups, as well as online classes to kids around the world. She lives in a 150 year old farmhouse in Nashville, Tennessee, along with her husband, an energetic border collie, a miniature rooster, an assortment of chickens and ducks and a ghost who haunts the staircase.
A native of Adairsville Georgia, Rickey Boyd is a puppeteer who managed to combine his childhood love of animation and puppetry into a lifelong career. After graduating from Shorter College, he began working for Jim Henson productions in 1988. His most visible work includes Sesame Street, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Dinosaurs, Animal Jam, Muppets from Space, Muppet Wizard of Oz, and Muppet Vision 3d (Disney Attraction). Rickey has worked on a wide range of non Henson productions. His work includes design, animation and puppet work for TNN (Peppercorn Prod./The Nashville Network) and most recently Wondermore Kids for InTOuch Ministries and Doug the Slug for Brentwood Studio's/Randall Goodgame's The Slugs and Bugs Show. Rickey is a creative director at Magnetic Dreams Animation Studio in Nashville, where he helps lead the talented team on projects for Sesame Workshop, Jim Henson Productions, among others. He has won three Emmy Awards for his contributions to Sesame Street. He lives outside Nashville with his family.
Evan is a production artist and illustrator for Television Animation. His enthusiasm for visual story-telling, and creating imaginative worlds has grown over his lifetime. From an early age he has been extremely passionate about cartoons and environment design. He is always pushing the boundaries with creating new and exciting ways to engage with an audience.
