Florence the Border Collie, shy and not-so-brave, must find another way to travel. And so, for the very first time, she climbs onto the back of Laura the friendly fire-breathing dragon and sets off on the most daring adventure of her life.
Across Scotland and out to sea, Florence discovers Phoenix Land — a magical kingdom by the shore, where a turtle named Tommy is in terrible trouble, a mermaid walks on the beach, and an evil dragon is on the hunt for Laura.
Can Florence find the courage to save her friends — and face the most frightening creature she has ever met?
Filled with magical creatures, a beautiful beach clean-up, and a fairy wand that just might save the day, Florence and the Turtle is a warm and funny story about friendship, bravery, and what happens when you dare to believe in yourself.
The sixth book in The Magical Adventures of Florence the Border Collie, co-created with schoolchildren.
