"If you have suffered such a loss... I suggest you read this book!" — Verified Amazon Customer Review
Returning to work after the devastating loss of a loved one is one of the hardest steps a grieving person ever takes.
You may already be back at your desk, feeling like a stranger in a place that once felt safe. Or you may be dreading the day you walk through those doors again. Coworkers may not know what to say—or say nothing at all. Your manager might be compassionate… or expect you to “get over it” quickly. Grief crashes in during meetings, deadlines, and quiet moments, and you wonder: How do I protect my job while still honoring the pain I carry?
In Taking Your Griefcase to Work, R. Glenn Kelly, bereaved father, best-selling author of Sometimes I Cry in the Shower, The Griefcase, and more, is a seasoned business executive who combines over two decades of grief-recovery expertise with real-world business insight to give you the practical tools and emotional permission you need.
This is not another generic grief book. It’s a direct, compassionate guide—especially for men—who must navigate grief in the workplace while maintaining professional responsibilities.
You’ll learn how to:
- Have difficult conversations with managers and colleagues
- Manage triggers and stay focused during the workday
- Set healthy boundaries without risking your career
- Rebuild purpose and quiet strength on the job
- Turn the broken road of loss into a path you can walk with dignity
A powerful companion to The Griefcase and Grief in the Workplace, this book helps you carry your grief into the office without letting it define you.
If you’re facing—or already facing—the return to work after loss, this is the guide that finally speaks directly to what you’re going through.
Start reading today. Your workplace (and your heart) will thank you.
