Print on Demand. This book, written in the 1st century AD, is a dialogue between intellectuals of the time about the evolution of oratory and the decline of standards in public speaking. Its author, a historian and orator himself, laments the loss of eloquence and the increasing popularity of a florid and decadent style. **The author attributes this decline to a number of factors, including the rise of autocracy, the decline of traditional values, and the influence of popular culture. He also emphasizes the importance of education and training, and argues that orators must be well-versed in history, philosophy, and literature. This book is a reproduction of an important historical work, digitally reconstructed using state-of-the-art technology to preserve the original format. In rare cases, an imperfection in the original, such as a blemish or missing page, may be replicated in the book.…
