Not dated, late 1920s, comprising board, 3 playing pieces on their original card, 2 dice in a waxed envelope, 'lighthouse' shaker and rules in the original box, which is the later variant with the image of King George V at speed on the lid, the one used for the 'Britain's Mightiest' GWR jigsaw puzzle. The contents are generally in good order, the shaker is a little rubbed and the smoke from one of the playing pieces is detached (but present). The lid image is bright, albeit a little stained & rubbed round the edges. Two of the lid corners are a little battered and there is evidence of earlier repairs to the inside. Overall the condition is as we would expect having seen a few of these over the years. Although there are 2 dice in the box, the rules only call for one die to be used when playing the game. UK shipping will be by UPS or equivalent for the ABE default rate. Overseas shipping will be higher than the ABE default rate and additional charges will be requested.

Store description
A member of the Provincial Booksellers Fairs Association (PBFA), I have been a nearly full time bookseller since the mid 2000s working from home in Bristol. I concentrate on books on transport (mainly railways), industrial history, maritime, topography, the Beatles & other groups from the 1960s and interesting ephemera. I particularly specialise in official publicity of the British railway companies. I sell on ABE, on eBay under the moniker 'mr.publicity' and at book and transport collectors' fairs. I keep a modest stock of quality material which is constantly changing - I spend a good deal of my time travelling around the UK seeking out and acquiring new stock. …
