Typed letter to "My dear Nelson," single page and signed "Charles Curtis." Fine. With an original news agency glossy photo of Curtis standing with Herbert Hoover after they had been nominated as the Republican standard-bearers in 1928 Curtis, "an enrolled member of the Kaw Nation," is the nation's first and only Native American vice president. The letter is to George M. Nelson of New York City.
