By the author of "Always Happy", volume 1 - xii, 187pp, 4pp publisher adverts, volume 2 - (iv), 224pp, volume 3 - (iv), 224pp, each volume has an engraved frontispiece plate, some offsetting to title pages, endpapers tanned with neat ex libris signatures dated 1820, green speckled edges, ink stain to top of volume 3 which has just seeped into the top margin of the pages and doesn't affect the text, quarter red calf with marbled paper boards, gilt spine lettering, spine ends lightly rubbed, corners a little bumped. The Old Hall Bookshop was established in 1977 by John and Lady Juliet Townsend. The Old Hall is a very fine 18th century house in the centre of Brackley, a pleasant market town about 18 miles north of Oxford. The shop has a large stock of antiquarian, secondhand, new books and maps covering a wide range of interests and prices. We welcome visitors and trade customers. Parking is easy in the Market Square. Disabled access available. Opening hours: We are open every day except Sunday and Bank holidays, from 10am to 5:30pm. We attend a number of Book Fairs each year.
