About this Item
Purple boards are discoloured, stained and worn. Head and tail of spine and board edges are rubbed; corners are bumped. Spine is extremely worn, much of it worn away to paper so that the lettering isn't visible any more (yet still has solid spine). Page edges are foxed, discoloured and stained. Pages are thumbed. Title page is inscribed and signed by the previous owner. Front pastedown endpaper contains previous book seller's sticker. 'P. Pulsford' is stamped on the first three pages in black ink, also on the first page of writing. Pages are foxed and discoloured, with some stains throughout. Hinge separation between pages 32-33, 96-97. Illustrated plate beginning to separate from spine at page 37. Else book is in fair condition. *We always describe the faults of our books meticulously but they usually present better than they sound. Seller Inventory # TRA418
