International Shipping Terms Agreement

Shipping Terms: As per the International Chamber of Commerce's (ICC) Incoterms 2020, the following shipping terms are agreed upon for the sale of books:

Incoterm: CIF (Cost, Insurance, and Freight)

Description: The seller is responsible for arranging and paying for transportation and insurance of the goods to the destination port. The seller bears the risk until the goods have been delivered onto the vessel at the port of shipment. The buyer is responsible for any additional costs incurred after the goods have been loaded onto the vessel, including customs clearance, import duties, taxes, and transportation from the destination port.

Additional Terms and Conditions:

Delivery Schedule: We will ship the purchased books witin 48 hours of receipt.

Inspection: The buyer has the right to inspect the goods upon arrival at the port of destination. Any claims for damages, shortages, or non-conformities must be communicated to the seller within 10 business days of receipt of the goods.

Force Majeure: Neither party shall be liable for any delay or failure to perform its obligations under this agreement if such delay or failure is caused by events beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, civil unrest, labor disputes, natural disasters, or government actions.
